LEARN MOREABOUT THE BENEFIT
Local Gallatin, Tennessee friends, Northfield Church, and world renown musicians raised, through the Scott’s Song Benefit Concert, 22K of a 95K for Scotts Moblius IBOT chair and customized van. This was a remarkable achievement for a small local town. We are thankful.
We now need to finish the race and move from a local outreach to a Global one in order raise 73K more to help Scott who cannot move, eat, or speak get out of solitary conferment and be with family and friends and feel ‘the wind on his face’.
The "Scott's Song - Benefit Concert" was held on September 30th, but the full concert, featuring performances by Nashville's own Blue House Band, Singer/Songwriters Haylie Allcott, and Michael Pos, will be released globally in Juanuary 2023.

Scott's Song
- Words by George-Scott Owens
Verse 1
Heading down the highway I was thinking of home,
My work was over, my destination knew where I needed to go.
Then the lights went out in my head,
I felt the rolling the breaking of glass.
My fate then threw me, threw to bed,
My speech was taken, and my body was wrecked.
Chorus
Lord, I know that you love me, but I’m locked, locked in this body.
Lord, I know you that you died for me, but I’m locked, locked in this body.
Verse 2
Six years have passed on my back, I still can’t move, I still can’t speak.
I dream of days on the lake of fishing, of the things I did, of things that might have been.
My heart imagines the wind on my face,
My heart imagines, some hope to remain.
Often anguish knocks on my door,
My heart is begging for the strength of my Lord.
Chorus
Lord, I know that you love me, but I’m locked, locked in this body.
Lord, I know you that you died for me, but I’m locked, locked in this body.
Bridge
My wife she stands beside me,
She is, is my Cathy
Her heart oh Lord, it maintains me, sustains me, oh it keeps me away from the dark days
When you stand at the plate, you hope to hit it of the park.
You take you stance, grip the bat with your hands and swing with all of your heart,
Though I am down on my luck, I am stuck,
There is nothing greater than the power of love.
I hear my Savior, calling my name,
He says son now Scott, you’re still needed to play.
Chorus
Lord, I know that you love me, but I’m locked, locked in this body.
Lord, I know you that you died for me, but I’m locked, locked in this body.
Lord, I know you love me, but I’m so locked in this body.
Lord, I know you that you died for me, but I’m locked, locked in this body.
I’m locked…locked…locked in this body.
